Our Wedding Adventure
Once upon a time, there was a boy who shared his book with a lovely young lady in math class…
During the first weeks of a new year in college we were lucky enough to both be in the same math class. It was here Josiah shared his math book with Laural, and what commenced the first chapter of our story.
Quickly our friendship blossomed that fall as we walked around the Japanese Garden & picked apples at the orchard. One night after a day of studying & adventuring - Josiah dropped Laural off at home. As they were saying goodnight, she surprised him with a kiss - he was so dazed he stumbled over his own feet!
Being the math dorks that we are, we may or may not have flirted with math puns. Laural told Josiah she loved him for the first time with a math equation. Can you solve it?! Don't worry - we completed the first 4 steps 😉
Just short of a year after meeting, Josiah asked Laural to watch a sunrise with him at the edge of Raspberry Island along the Mississippi River. As the sun rose above the horizon, Josiah surprised Laural with a ring and a promise.
As promised - and only six years later Josiah & Laural took a trip to the big island of Hawaii where Josiah finally proposed! Luckily for him, she said yes!
At the crest of almost a decade in a beautiful relationship - Laural & Josiah ascended to the top of Mt. Baker to proclaim their love and vows.
With happy hearts & joyful souls – we took our love to the mountains to exchange our vows. Although we chose to proclaim our commitments in only the company of one another – please know that on this special day you were in our thoughts & hearts.
Take a tour of our trip around the Pacific Northwest – up mountains, along beaches, and into the woods.
Since we don’t really need more material things – we’re asking that if you’d like to grace us with a gift, that you might consider our adventure fund, or donating to a charity we would love to support.
